Attend this accelerated Instructor-Led Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Messaging Administrator Learning and Certification Boot Camp to earn the IT Professional certification for Exchange Server 2007. The Microsoft MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator Boot Camp is more than certification training, it will teach you a full range of advanced skills you'll need to reliably plan and execute an enterprise scale messaging environment on Exchange Server 2007, including upgrade strategies, Active Directory infrastructure, hardware infrastructure, storage, messaging security, and more. This Microsoft MCITP boot camp includes two Pro level exams. This intensive 3-day Microsoft MCITP Boot Camp runs 12 hours each day and covers material from 2 Microsoft official courses. (5 days total content).

This Microsoft MCITP boot camp event includes test vouchers for two Pro level exams, customized Microsoft Official Courseware, test prep material for the MCITP exams, and catered lunch and dinner on each day. An in house Pearson/Vue test center is available for your testing convenience.

Microsoft MCITP Training begins at 8 AM on each day and ends at 8 PM.

This Microsoft MCITP course is intended for people with 3 or more years experience working with previous versions of Exchange Server and experience implementing Exchange Server 2007. Most MCITP students will have managed enterprise-level Exchange Server organizations. MCITP students are expected to be new to participating in designing Exchange Server 2007 deployments on the job or be planning to design Exchange Server 2007 deployments in the near future. MCITP students may have done some design for Exchange 2000 Server or Exchange Server 2003 deployments, but want to learn how to design Exchange Server 2007 environments. MCITP students will also have experience in designing and managing Active Directory - directory services and network infrastructure deployments.

3-day official MCTS: Configuring Exchange Server 2007, New to Product

2-day official MCTS: Configuring Exchange Server 2007, Update Skills


Before attending this Microsoft MCITP course, students must also have:

An understanding of hardware concepts, including RAID,SAN, processor options, memory requirements, limitations of disk I/O, and storage options for Exchange server.

Working experience with designing and implementing Active Directory in Windows Server 2003.

An Understanding of Exchange architecture, including the purpose of server roles, functions of specific server roles, message routing and queuing, standard messaging protocols (SMTP, IMAP4, POP3), replicating data stores, client access methods, etc.

Working knowledge of Exchange System Manager, Exchange Best Practice Analyzer (ExBPA), and Microsoft Visio(to create infrastructure diagrams)

Familiarity and experience with a Windows scripting or command line scripting

Must have a basic understanding of high availability concepts

Must have a basic familiarity with deriving business requirements.

Must have a basic understanding of backup systems, including WinNT backup (ntbackup.exe)

Must have working experience with Exchange 2000 Server or Exchange Server 2003 and Exchange Server 2007. For example, must have installed, maintained, and supported a production Exchange environment.
