As of May 16, the CCNP training exams changed to simulation testing. We have contacted Cisco and they have assured us that the curriculum remains unchanged. Since, during the boot camp, you will spend nearly 70 hours on hands on labs, this is actually a positive change, and is likely to increase the chances of passing. The major purpose of the change is to prevent students from passing the exam using 'braindumps' and 'exam cram' books, so it is also likely to increase the value of the CCNP training certification.

Boot camps have significant time limitations. Lab and theory coverage is not likely to be as comprehensive as it may be in a non-accelerated (regular) Cisco authorized course. Some labs may be covered as instructor-led demos, while others may not be covered.

All Exams are delivered at the Training Center , which is an authorized VUE Testing Center . We will provide a large number of testing stations dedicated to the boot camp. A test administrator will be available throughout the day, and in the evening, to register you for the tests.
CCNP certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass any 642 exam that is part of the professional level curriculum after 01/01/06, or pass a current Cisco CCIE written exam.
